What to expect: There is every possibility that you will be sharing the studio with a class on your visit. FAQs * We will provide aprons (not split leg) but do bring your own if you prefer. * It’s always good to have an idea of what you’d like to make, but we can also help and guide you with this. Sometimes it’s worth making a rough sketch of what you might like to make. We can help guide you on how to go about making it, but be aware, mainly for the day classes, if this is a complicated form you may not have the time to create this in one class. * It is advised to remove long necklaces and all hand jewellery when working with clay. * Long finger nails and false nails don’t work well with throwing or hand building. * Hair will need to be tied back where applicable for safety reasons. * Please wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. * Food is not permitted to be consumed in the studio due to contamination, but do feel free to eat outside in our seating area. * NB: Not all pieces will be fired. Some pieces may be too thick to fire due to their potential explosion in the kiln. This will be left to the discretion of the kiln technician. * Pieces not picked up within the given time frame will be removed due to limited studio space. * We have a bathroom with wheelchair access.
